Welcome to my blog. My name is Mayalice Joseph and I am a 9th grade student at Treasure Coast High School taking AS Level Media Studies. My interest in this course stemmed from  my passion and interest in film. I believe this course will sharpen my analytical skills and provide me with a better understanding of film related studies and how to compose a film. This course has piqued my interest and I am thrilled to better my understanding of the topic of media.

This blog serves as a summary of the topics that have been covered throughout the duration of this course, ranging from the process of cinematography to aspects of mis-en-scene and how it affects audience engagement while creating meaning.  It contains my tasks and research on specific aspects of media, my production progress for my final project, which was entirely composed, and my reflection.
